L'Anse schools until Thursday

The L’Anse school district had an early dismissal this morning due to the high number of  flu cases reported.

Students were released from the schools at 11:55.

The Schools will remain closed Tuesday and Wednesday before reopening on Thursday.

There will be no athletic activities over the next two days, but athletic events will resume on Thursday when the schools reopen.

Any athletic events that were cancelled will be rescheduled.

Sacred Heart School in L’Anse, the Arvon Township School and the L’Anse BHK Child Development Center also had an early release due to the high number of ill students.

They will also be closed until Thursday.
