Fire Alarm at Marquette McDonald's
Reports of smoke at the McDonald’s restaurant in Marquette brought out firefighters Saturday morning.
The Marquette Fire Department says they got a call about the smoke shortly after 5:30 am.
Firefighters say that the smoke was very minor and that most of it had already dissipated by the time they arrived.
Crews continued ventilating the restaurant and they cleared the scene in about 40 minutes.
The fire department says a fan motor within the heating system is one possible origin, though the exact cause is unknown.
Heating and air conditioning repair personnel are expected to visit the restaurant on West Washington Street today to investigate further.
No one was hurt.
