Thanksgiving dinner for the eldery

As much as turkey and pumpkin pie the Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly holiday dinner has become a Thanksgiving tradition in the Copper Country. Setting up feasts in nine locations throughout the area Little Brothers welcomes seniors who would otherwise be spending the holiday alone.

Each year food and volunteer help comes pouring in from the community. Little Brothers has all the food they need for tomorrow’s dinner, but they could still use an extra pair of hands.

To volunteer or to let them know you would like to be a guest at one of their parties…call Little Brothers in Hancock at (906)482-6944.  If you can’t make it one of the holiday dinners…a hot turkey dinner will be brought to you along with a friendly visit for Thanksgiving.
