Gladstone Mobile Home Fire
A downstate woman is safe after her mobile home caught fire in Gladstone while she was driving.
Gladstone Public Safety says it happened shortly after 3 this afternoon.
Nancy Burk of downstate Harbor Springs was driving her mobile home east on the 1500 block of South Lake Shore Drive when it caught fire.
She was unaware of the blaze, but a Michigan State Police motor carrier officer saw flames underneath the vehicle and pulled her over.
Burk and her dog got out of the burning mobile home safely.
Gladstone volunteer firefighters put out the flames, but the mobile home is a total loss.
