Delta Co. banker on MBA board
Don St. Germaine, president and chief executive officer of Baybank in Gladstone, has been elected to serve as treasurer for a one-year term on the Michigan Bankers Association Board of Directors.
St. Germaine joined Baybank as its chief in 2007. He previously served in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as a national bank examiner and currently is a member of the Advisory Committee for Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He also worked at Michigan Financial Corporation, Detroit Bank & Trust and St. Clair Shores National Bank.
St. Germaine is involved with a number of community groups, including the Gladstone Lions Club, Gladstone EDC and IDC Boards, Delta Animal Shelter Board and Delta County Community Foundation.
St. Germaine holds a BA in Accounting from Wayne State University and Northern Michigan University.
The Michigan Bankers Association, established in 1887, is comprised of Michigan financial institutions with more than 3,500 branches located throughout the state.
