Snyder Mobile Office Tour
It was day three of Governor Rick Synder’s mobile office tour of the U.P.
Representatives from Snyder’s Lansing and Marquette offices held open office hours.
A Negaunee session was held midday after a morning meeting in Marquette.
A steady line of people filed in and out of Negaunee’s Midtown Bakery.
Many wanted to voice thoughts and concerns.
Others wanted to hear about some of the governor’s plans for the rest of the year.
Residents we spoke with say they appreciate the extra effort by Snyder’s office.
They say the visit is a sign that their voices are being heard in Lansing.
Negaunee resident Paul Rosten says he’s eagerly awaiting the response the governor will have to the feedback he receives from U.P. residents like himself.
The tour continues tomorrow in Ironwood, Iron River and Iron Mountain.
On Friday, the governor’s mobile office will be in Menominee, Escanaba and Manistique.
