Parade of Thanks At Risk
This Saturday’s Parade of Thanks could be the last.
That announcement was made at the honors banquet in Atlantic Mine.
The Parade has been a staple in the Copper Country since 2006 and is one of the largest of the few Armed Forces Day parades in the United States.
31–year service veteran William Archer, who saw combat in World War II, Korea and Vietnam, will be the Grand Marshal.
The parade begins on Saturday at 10am in Houghton and ends in Hancock.
