Marquette Township Vehicle Break-ins

Troopers from the Michigan State Polce post in Negaunee and Deputies from the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a number of thefts and damaged vehicles in the Wetmore Landing, Sugarloaf Mountain, Little Presque Isle and Harlow Lake areas of County Road 550 in Marquette Township that occurred over the weekend.

Windows have been broken out of several vehicles and items and money have been stolen from those vehicles as well.

The public is encouraged to secure their vehicles when parked in that area and lock all valuables out of sight.

Anyone who witnessed the incidents or who may have information leading to the identification of the suspects is asked to contact the Michigan State Police in Negaunee at 906-475-9922.
