Day Seven of Levack Murder Trial
Today was the first full day of the defense presenting its case in the David Levack murder trial in Iron County.
Levack took the stand today to testify on his own behalf.
He was questioned in direct examination from the defense for most of the day.
Levack, who lives in Kingsford, is charged with open murder, felony murder, first–degree home invasion and witness intimidation.
The charges come from the death of 81–year–old Joyce Johnson of Stambaugh Township.
Johnson was found strangled in her home last September on the same day that she was scheduled to testify in court against Levack about the theft of jewelry from her home in 2008.
