Caregiver's Conference at NMU
Caregivers, professionals, and families involved with alzheimers disease have an opportunity coming up that could offer them a lot of support and some extra information.
The Alzheimer’s Association will hold their annual conference on April 16th at Northern Michigan University. Professionals and families from all over the area will speak at the conference, sharing their knowledge and personal experiences about the disease.
New safety issues related to alzheimer’s or related dementias will be one topic covered at the conference on Monday. Specifically, the issue of wandering.
The Alzheimer’s Association hopes this conference will provide the resources necessary for caregivers to feel they are not alone. As well as collect information about new reaseach about this disease.
