Ontonagon Woman Facing Stalking Charge
An Ontonagon woman is facing multiple charges for allegedly stalking two people.
37–year old Melissa Young was arraigned on a four-year felony charge of larceny in a building and two misdemeanor counts of stalking.
Stalking carries a penalty of a year in jail, a $1,000 fine, up to five years of probation or all of those.
Items reported as stolen include a washer, a dryer, a refrigerator and an antique pool table.
Court documents indicate the victims, a man and a woman, felt harassed and threatened by the suspect.
Bond was set at $1,500.
A preliminary exam is scheduled for April 24th.
