U.P. Alzheimer's Short Film
An Upper Michigan filmmaker is in the running for an award at the Neuro Film Festival.
Lisa Cerasoli is a long–time advocate of Alzheimer’s awareness.
Her five-minute short film “Truth” is taken from a scene in her award-winning film “14 Days with Alzheimer’s”.
She asked other people in the U.P. to contribute photos and memories of loved ones lost to the disease.
Lisa took those contributions and turned them into a mini–documentary that pays tribute to the families and provides information on the disease that robs people of their memory.
The piece points out the non–discriminatory nature of the disease: it affects all races, a variety of ages and both genders.
You can sign up and vote for it now at the American Academy of Neurology’s Neuro Film Festival site.
