Speed & Alcohol possible factors in Snowmobile Crash
Alcohol and Speed may be the cause of a snowmoblie accident Friday night in Skandia Township.
Officials from the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department say it happened at approximately 10 pm on Trail 8 just South of County Road 456.
26 year old John Miner of Cedar Springs failed to navigate around a curve, left the trail and hit a tree.
Miner recieved injuries to his leg and was taken to Marquette General Hospital for treatment.
Charges are being issued and the accident remains under investigation.
Deputies were assisted by the Forsyth Township Police Department, Skandia West Branch First Responders and Medi-Ride EMS.
