Seniors Share Time Together Again Thanks to Copper Country Senior Meals
Seniors can come together again, thanks to Copper Country Senior Meals.
The organization began holding congregate meals again this past Monday.
Seniors were able to socialize and share a meal with friends.
Program Director Rich Simpson said he’s excited to connect with the community again.
Right now six drivers can reach nearly 200 seniors in the Houghton and Calumet area.
The organization wants to find ways to expand its community services and reach more people.
In order to do that, he said, the group needs more volunteers.
