Public Opinion on the Vice Presidential Debate
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Many viewers are nervous for what will happen in tonight’s vice presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamela Harris.
Several Marquette residents are just hoping for a civil discussion between the two with no insults hurled and maturity on display.
Those residents had this to say,
“I hope they don’t get in an enormous argument and be civil to each other.”
“I hope people can see a clear choice on their candidate that they choose… So I just hope for a clear response.”
“I guess I hope that there is less mockery, more get to point, less talking over each other.”
“Honestly I just hope everyone acts like an adult. I’m sick of the jokes everyone is playing… I just want somebody who cares about this country and is going to lead, and is looking out for our future not just now.”
“I’d like more respect for life, I’d like just more respect for each other, less government interference.”
The country will continue to watch as Election Day on Nov. 3rd draws near.
