Lake Superior Community Partnership holding free web seminar for local businesses

MARQUETTE — The COVID–19 crisis is putting a strain on businesses in the area, and one local nonprofit is extending a helpful hand.

The Lake Superior Community Partnership, or LSCP, is holding a free online seminar for businesses affected by the COVID–19 pandemic.

The seminar is designed to help businesses in any way, by first answering the many questions they might have.

“Truly, all we’re trying to do is take what we’re learning every day from businesses as to what is keeping them up at night, and trying to get answers out there,” said Amy Clickner, CEO of the LSCP. “Typically, if you find one business has a question, it’s a question that many have. So really it’s just a matter of trying to get correct information out to everybody.”

The seminar will feature a checklist of what businesses should be doing, along with small business grants and programs, everything unemployment, and others.

The seminar will be held April 15th at 12:30 p.m. A link for registration, plus how to submit questions can be found here.
