Negaunee Public Library closed until further notice
NEGAUNNE — The Negaunee Public Library announced on Tuesday, March 16th, that they will be closing their doors to the public.
This announcement came as Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed an executive order that libraries must close their doors. The Negaunee Public Library is offering curbside pickup, along with the continuation of their online services until further notice.
“All public libraries in the UP are a part of Great Lakes Digital Libraries,” said Jessica Holman, Library Director at Negaunee Public Library. “So you can sue your library card to choose from thousands of downloadable audio books and e–books. Negaunee Public Library is still offering curbside service; where you can give us a call, and we will get the books off the shelf, check them out, and run them out to your car.”
The Negaunee Public Library will still be operating at its normal hours, so calling or requesting books online is still an option.
