Holiday Craft Show celebrates 40 years
ISHPEMING — A local show is providing people with an opportunity to get some holiday shopping done early, while supporting people in the area.
Held in the Ishpeming Armory, the Holiday Craft Show celebrated their 40th consecutive year, where patrons can buy all sorts of homemade gifts for anyone ahead of the holiday season.
“It’s a great show to come and start doing your Christmas shopping,” said Liz Waters, organizer of the the craft show. “You can get a quick head-start, and we’ve got everything from baked goods to things for mom, dad, kids, dogs; you name it, we’ve got it.”
The show, which runs until tomorrow, features over 35 vendors selling a wide array of goods.
Every gift for sale is homemade by locals, which is required by the craft show in order to be showcased.
Part of the proceeds raised goes back to the National Guard for family–related support.
The next show will be tomorrow at 4 p.m.
