Community Foundation of Marquette County’s 31st annual celebration
MARQUETTE– The Community Foundation of Marquette County celebrated 31 years of service on the evening of Wednesday, September 25.
The annual celebration was held in the Great Lakes Room at Northern Michigan University. The foundations sponsors,board members, and donors along with people from the community were in attendance to celebrate the accomplishments of organization from this past year.
“Tonight we announce our catalyst award recipients. we are pretty excited about that,” said Gail Anthony, CEO of the Community Foundation Of Marquette County. “We honor the people in the community that have served as catalyst for giving. So it’s our honor to honor them tonight. Also, we’ll be talking about the initiatives that the community foundation has under taken in the last few years.”
The award winners from that event are Gauthier Insurance as the business recipient, Danielle Jahnke for Youth Catalyst Award recipient, Maura Davenport for the Individual Award, and Noquemanon Trail Network as the volunteer organization.
