MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University held the 119th Spring Commencement at the Superior Dome.
Graduate and Undergraduate students alike walked across the stage to move on to their next chapter.
Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow was the commencement speaker for this years graduation ceremony. Not only was her speech focused on empowering the future leaders of Michigan, but also telling them to always push forward in their future careers and all of their endeavors.
Just over 800 graduates walked across the commencement stage, to shake hands with NMU president Fritz Erickson, and to receive their well-deserved diplomas.
Congratulations to all the new Northern Michigan Alumni, and the people who support them.
Our very own Donny Ede was among those who graduated.
