Snowmobile rider found in Sands Township
MARQUETTE COUNTY — At approximately 4:40 am, the Marquette County Police Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Sands Plains area of Sands Township to the report of a lost snowmobiler.
A 60 year old Thomas Lohf, of Marquette, was riding his snowmobile in the Sands Plains when he became stuck on the trail.
He contacted friends by phone but they were unable to locate him.
He was later able to contact 911 and Central Dispatch, which then they were able to locate him.
Thomas Lohf was taken to his residence by deputies and needed no medical attention.
