MARQUETTE — Members of the public were able to tour a local brewery on Wednesday night as part of the festivities leading up to Beer Fest, which is happening on Saturday, September 8.

In celebration of craft beer week going on, Ore Dock Brewing Company wanted to give their patrons the opportunity to get a sneak peek of the brewery, learn about their process of brewing, and learn about the business and how they got started.

“Throughout the course of the year we get a lot of the people just coming in just asking about how beer is brewed and a little bit more about the process, so this is our opportunity to get people in and really allow them to learn a little bit more about that” said owner and co-founder at Ore Dock Brewery, Andrea Pernsteiner. “Really, we’re just trying to put our best foot forward [for Beer Fest], we have a couple unique beers coming out throughout the week.”

This week they have released a few beers that they wouldn’t normally release, and hosted events at their location as well.

They are excited for beer fest and the opportunity to show the community all the unique beers they offer.
