Ironwood man charged after hitting deputy
IRONWOOD — A Ironwood man has been charged after hitting a deputy.
35-year-old Ryan Gregory Alessandroni of Ironwood has been charged by the Gogebic County Prosecutor, Nicholas Jacobs.
Alessandroni has been charged with 3 felony counts and one misdemeanor count for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
The felony charges are fourth-degree fleeing, assault, and failing to use due care when passing a stationary vehicle.
The accident happened on the night of July 20th when the deputy was directing traffic at an accident.
Alessandroni attempted to bypass the scene of the accident when he hit the deputy on the side of his torso.
The deputy was not injured but was examined and released from the Aspirus Ironwood Hospital.
