ESCANABA — The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing about $2.6 million to mill and resurface 15.5 miles of M-35 from the Menominee County line to the Delta County Airport.

This work was initially slated to be done in 2019, but is expected to begin Monday, July 23rd of this year.

One alternating lane will be open using flag control.

This project will result in a smoother driving surface and increased safety, and will extend the lifespan of the roadway.
