Michigan Authors make a visit to The Negaunee Public Library

NEGAUNEE — The Negaunee Public Library held its third annual Pioneer Day’s authors signing,

Six Michigan Authors were in attendance today to sell and autograph their books.

Their books covered a variety of different topics and genres, from fantasy to autobiographies.

All of the authors have local ties to the Upper Peninsula and this is a great way to get their book out in the public eye and highlight our local Authors.

“A lot of times they self publish or go through small independent presses. They don’t have as big of a marketing reach as a lot of other authors do. It’s our way to help them,” said Jessica Holman, Director at the Negaunee Public Library.

“I’ve been around the country, all over the country. The Upper Peninsula, I have to say is one of my favorite places that I’ve ever been,” said Talen Williams, NMU Graduate, Author of Suburban High.
