MARQUETTE — Throughout the summer a robotics team, Team Cold Logic, holds Workshops aimed at skill-building for students.

Today’s workshop involved public speaking and representing one’s self in a public light. The group dove into all the different ways to understand professionalism and what makes a good public speaker.

These events are open to all students who are interested in learning about any field involved within business and or robotics. The group wants to help bring more knowledge to students and help get funding for all robotics teams in the U.P.

“It’s important to help with the other teams through funding because it gives them money for more opportunities to help advance their knowledge into college,” said CEO of Cold Logic Robotics Team, Sawyer Doan. “It is always helpful to have that knowledge whenever you are taking these classes in the future. Say you know what you learned here you can apply throughout the rest of your life and it is something you can keep with you.”
