GWINN — The weather put a damper on an annual event today, but that didn’t stop participants from moving along.

The Superior Health Foundation held their annual golf outing today at Red Fox Run Golf Club. Their partner for this year’s outing was Courage Incorporated, a nonprofit built to help injured veterans and other individuals get out and enjoy some outdoor activities. This is Courage Incorporated’s first time working with the Superior Health Foundation.

“This is an amazing opportunity, especially with a group like ours,” said Courage Inc. Executive Director Erik Conradson. “We’re a very small organization right now and so to have a group like them take us under their wing and give us the opportunity to give us some additional funding and networking and the opportunities we have is really amazing.”

The 12:00 shotgun start was delayed a while, but golfers ended up enjoying at least a few holes, while helping fund a good cause. $5,000 went to upgrading gear and travel expenses.
