NEGAUNEE — The second weekend in June gives Yooper residents a chance to step back in time

Negaunee’s Iron Street will turn vintage Saturday, June 9th, for the Thrifter Sister’s Vintage Flea Market Show. From 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., vintage aficionados will be able to check out antique and vintage items. People who dress a certain style will get discounted access to the flea market.

“We would love our guests coming to dress in vintage, retro attire. You get free admission into the show,” said event director Mary Hanna Ockerman. “The regular ticket prices are $3 for admission. We would love to encourage those with vintage cars to come on by; we’ll have special spots reserved for them.

Yes, the flea market is also a car and camper show. Vintage car drivers will also get free admission into the show.
