Looking for a Mother’s Day gift? Hanna’s Tea Times may be able to help

NEGAUNEE — Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and if your mother doesn’t prefer jewelry, chocolates or flowers, she may enjoy sitting down for tea.

Hanna’s Tea Times is co-hosting a Mother’s Day Tea Party with Midtown Bakery and Cafe on Saturday, May 12th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Patrons will enjoy a four-course meal and, of course, tea, at Midtown Bakery in Negaunee.

“Everybody is sort of looking for ways outside the box to honor their mother for Mother’s Day and tea parties are a very special way of doing that. It’s separating time out of your busy schedules, taking time to talk and have a cup of tea,” said Mary Hanna Ockerman, owner of Hanna’s Tea Times.

Unfortunately, tickets for this event are sold out, but Hanna’s does take reservations, which could be perfect for Afternoon Tea tomorrow, Friday or even next Monday.

Hanna’s Tea Times is located in the upper loft of Lowenstein’s Antique Mall on Iron Street in Negaunee. To learn more or to set up a reservation, click HERE to visit the website or HERE for Hanna’s Tea Times Facebook page.
