NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP — A man suffered minor injuries after a single-vehicle accident in Negaunee Township on Sunday.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post were called to M-35, approximately half of a mile south of US-41, at 2:20 p.m. Fifty-two year-old Michael Williams of Negaunee was driving northbound on M-35 when he lost control of his 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The vehicle slid off the roadway, into the ditch and then overturned.

Williams was alone in his car and he was wearing his seat belt. He sought his own treatment for minor injuries.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department, Negaunee Township Fire Department, UPHS – Marquette EMS and Antilla’s Towing Service assisted on the scene.
