MARQUETTE — Get up, get moving, and get in the know with a day of action on Saturday brought to you by the Superior Alliance for Independent Living at NMU.

The event is geared towards providing opportunities for education, socializing, networking, political activism, and personal growth specifically toward the disability community.

It is open to everyone and offers a variety of activities, games, and speakers to keep your mind and body moving.

“It’s a day full of action, advocacy, and education, we’ve got over 20 speakers coming out to present. So we have health and a health and wellness check, individuals and families check, we’ve got financial health and employment check and we also have an advocacy and action check,” said Jessica, Employment Services Specialist for SAIL.
