Veridea Group breaks ground
MARQUETTE — Superior living, superior views…that’s the motto for the Residences at Harbor Vista, one of Marquette’s newest housing developments. The Veridea group has begun construction on the multi–family rental complex.
Workers broke ground a little over two weeks ago. The vacant lot that was once home to the Nordic Bay Lodge will become home for 32 new or seasoned residents of Marquette.
“They’re really being marketed more toward maybe a retiree, or young professionals, perhaps people that are just moving to the area and haven’t yet found a home that they want to buy and live in permanently, or aren’t sure that they want to commit to that,” said Director of Commercial Real Estate, Michele Thomas. “These apartments really provide for that outdoor recreation experience; you can hop on a trail right out your back door.”
The apartments sit within a stones–throw of the Noquemanon Trail Network and the Marquette bike path. The Veridea Group will begin construction on a second building next summer.
Future residents can apply as early as December, and can move in in the spring of 2018.
