NEGAUNEE — A popular fall festival in the City of Negaunee is set to come back next week. And organizers say they’re in need of a few more vendors to participate in the one-day event.

Oktoberfest 2017 comes to Downtown Negaunee Saturday, September 23rd. The family-friendly town-wide event features something for everyone.

Event coordinator Mary Hanna Ockerman is looking for additional local businesses to participate in the second-annual festival.

“We are opening this up to bring the community together,” said Ockerman. “We would like families to come down and enjoy the festivities from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We’ve got live music, Jackson’s Pit is having a beer tent, a stein-holding contest, and live music as well.”
