NEGAUNEE–Do you like green eggs and ham? If you do, chances are, you’ll love the newest musical production which opened Wednesday night at the Historic Vista Theatre in Negaunee.

“Seussical the Musical” is based on the works of Dr. Seuss, featuring beloved classics like Horton Hears a Who, and Cat In The Hat. The cast is comprised of nearly 70 members, with 50 of those being youth from the surrounding communities. “Oh the places you’ll go” with this fun and exciting show!

“I’ve really never played a villain before, but I look at the character as more of a sour, sassy role,” said cast member Adrianna Stephens. “So, I kind of run the jungle and, yeah, I’m basically just kind of turning everybody against Horton because we all think he’s a fool.”

The show runs through August 6th at the Vista, with matinee showings on the 5th and 6th.
Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for K-12 Students and Senior Citizens, and at the door tickets for Pre-K and under are $5.00. You can visit the theatre’s website for more information.
