No-Fault law discussed at educational session
ISHPEMING–Michigan’s No-Fault Law was the subject of conversation Wednesday afternoon at River Rock Lanes and Banquet Center in Ishpeming.
The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a session for members of the public, in conjunction with Dominic Andriacchi of Dominic F. Andriacchi, P.C. Attorneys at Law, to further explain the law, its benefits, and also its technicalities. The No-Fault Law protects drivers in the event of a crash, and assists with any subsequent medical bills.
“The No-Fault law is basically, whenever someone gets injured in a car accident, the No-Fault law is there to protect them regardless if they’re at fault or if they’re not at fault,” said Dominic Andriacchi of Dominic F. Andriacchi, P.C. Attorneys at Law. “Whoever is injured in a car accident, you’re going to be covered by your car insurance carrier, as long as you have car insurance.”
This is the 4th resource meeting the chamber has held this year, and public input on interests to educate on is always appreciated.
