Popular dance competition returns next week
MARQUETTE — We are less than a week away from one of the most popular events in the Upper Peninsula returning for not one, but two nights.
Dancing with our Stars returns to the Forest Roberts Theatre next Wednesday and Thursday. This year’s theme is Redemption.
Eight couples who have danced in the competition before are back to try and win it all for the first time.
“They are bringing their ‘A Game’ so strong. They are so excited. Everyone is really fired up,” said Jill Grundstrom, director of dance. “They are so supportive of each other and we cannot wait for opening night on Wednesday.”
Tickets for Thursday night’s show are already sold out. However, there are still less than 100 tickets available for Wednesday’s competition.
Prices range from $25-$45 and all the proceeds go to the U.P. Hospice Foundation.
