Setup underway for U.P. Builders Show
MARQUETTE — It’s been a fixture here in the Upper Peninsula for over 40 years. The U.P. Builders Show returns to the Superior Dome Friday for its annual three-day stint.
Over 130 vendors will be on hand at the show. They spent Thursday setting up their booths.
From windows to roofing experts and beyond, the U.P. Builders show brings every aspect of the building profession together all under one roof.
“We all have projects that we want to do in our home and usually it’s more than one- interior, exterior, siding, roofing,” said Jen Lammi, co-chair of the U.P. Builders Show.
“This is a place where you can come and talk to all of those people all at once. You can get your supplies here, you can come get prices here, you can find out how to do things and you can get your best prices,” she added.
“Most people are out here to see what’s out there in the marketplace,” said Mike Hill, owner of Michael’s Homes. “We’re here to show them what we offer. We’re a modern builder, we’re a green builder and we offer some of the latest and greatest things. That’s what people are here to see.”
Tickets for the event are $4 for adults and $2 for seniors. The U.P. Builders Show opens Friday at 5:00 p.m.
