Bad weather, poor road conditions lead to PI accident
RICHMOND TOWNSHIP — Friday’s bad weather and poor road conditions contributed to an accident in Richmond Township.
Deputies from the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department say they responded to a one-vehicle personal injury accident at 6pm Friday evening on M-35 near Old M-35 N.
Elise Johnson, 59, of Gwinn was driving her silver Subaru Forester when she lost control of the vehicle. The airbags did deploy when she hit the ditch.
She was transported to the hospital by Forsyth Township EMS for complaints of pain.
Marquette County Rescue 131, Richmond Township Fire Department and Forsyth EMS assisted deputies on scene.
