Local restaurant and brewery celebrate 20th anniversary
ISHPEMING — A local restaurant and brewery is celebrating its 20th anniversary with some great deals for the customers.
Jasper Ridge Brewery and Restaurant opened up in the Ishpeming community back in 1996. Twenty years later and not much has changed– except the ever changing tastes of the customers.
“It’s night and day from 20 years ago to today. When we opened 20 years ago, our number one selling beer was the Golden Wheat, which was out lightest, tamest, mildest beer we had,” said Pat Beyer, the Jasper Ride Brewery and Restaurant General Manager. “The drinking public has taken huge steps in the style of beer that they drink; the more hoppy, dark different beers.”
The popular destination for locals and travelers alike is celebrating with a few menu specials.
For lunch, they’re offering a new and different burger everyday. And the dinner special will have customers walking away with a commemorative pint glass and a belly full of burgers and beer.
The celebratory specials will run through Sunday.
