Honor Rewards program for veterans comes to Marquette County
MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Register of Deeds office is offering veterans across the county a new service that will save them money across many different platforms.
The program is called Honor Rewards. It offers veterans of every branch of the military discounts and incentives at different businesses within the county.
Carla L’Huillier, who is in charge of the program, says Marquette County is the first county in the state to offer something like this to our veterans. L’Huillier says it takes about two minutes to sign–up for the program.
“All they have to do is go on the website, www.honorrewards.com or the Marquette County website, Register Of Deeds, and they can signup there,” said L’Huillier. “If they don’t have a computer, we would be very happy to help them here. Once they do that within two weeks, they will receive a card looking like a credit card with their name on it and they present that to the business.”
Over 30 different businesses– places like Big Boy, Beef–A–Roo and Family Video are participating in the program.
