Travel Channel films at beloved U.P. bakery
TRENARY — The Travel Channel decided to make a stop in the U.P. and visit some of our most well known establishments.
Starting off the week at Trenary’s Bakery, where producers of Travel Channel filmed a segment for their show, ‘Bizarre Foods Delicious Destinations.’ Producers heard about the Trenary Bakery after calling several local radio stations and asking what U.P. places are most well known for their food.
The Owner of Trenary Bakery was happy to show a piece of the U.P. for everyone around the country to see.
“Andrew Zimmer’s shows I’ve seen before and they’re fun and interesting. So I’ve watched them before and it’s an honor. This isn’t about me at all, this is about the U.P. The product is here because of the people in the U.P. who like this” said Owner of Trenary Bakery, Andy Reichert.
Andy did also mention that the producers loved the trenary toast. Trenary Bakery can be seen on the Travel Channel sometime in 2017. The Travel Channel will continue to make other stops throughout the week including at Thill’s Fish House, Vierling, and Lawry’s Pasty Shop.
