Smoke appears from attic in structure fire

ISHPEMING — Firefighters battled a structure fire off Silver Lake road tonight.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., we received unconfirmed reports of a structure fire taking place at 150 Silver Street; and reports of smoke coming from the residence.

Shortly after, we received video confirming the reports from an ABC 10 viewer.

In the video (above) you can see fire crews working to minimize the damage and smoke coming from the attic, where the extent of the damage appears to be. You can also see the lighter brush of damage on the home’s exterior.

But no word yet on who, if anyone, was home and whether or not people are injured. Count on ABC 10 to keep you updated as information rolls in.
