"That's What She Said" at Peter White Library
MARQUETTE — “That’s What She Said” performed today at Peter White Public Library.
Some of Marquette’s finest female talent all gathered in one place to perform a series of five short plays, all written by female authors.
A few of the performances were touching, hitting on the twists and turns along the winding road of life from the female point of view.
None of the play–writes are local, with some hailing from as far away as Tucson, Arizona.
“Also, one of them is from New York City. One of them is in the Minneapolis area. I think one of them is in California. So they’re from all over,” said producer, Monico Nordeen, “I read a whole bunch of scripts to try to pick out the best ones that I thought would be a good fit for this show.”
Among topics the show touched on were romance, careers, and dysfunctional family dynamics.
If you missed today’s performance, come to the Peter White Public Library on Thursday or Friday at 7 p.m. or Saturday at 2 p.m.
The show goes on for two hours and tickets are ten dollars each.
Proceeds go toward the library.
