Police make arrest in meth investigation
ISHPEMING — Police have made an arrest in connection with a meth lab that was discovered earlier this month in the City of Ishpeming.
The Ishpeming City Police Department arrested 33–year–old Joshua Aaron Vorase on one count of operating, maintaining a meth lab.
Back on May 6th, police responded to a residence on the 700 block of East Ridge Street on the report of a possible meth lab in a garage.
Members of the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team were called to remove the meth–making components from the garage.
Vorase is currently lodged at the Marquette County Jail.
He’s due back in court for a preliminary exam on May 31st.
