Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 12/22-23
Temperatures were once again mild across the area, but overcast conditions made for a miserable afternoon on this first day of winter. Tonight, skies remain cloudy as temps don’t look to fall much, and even rise in some spots. Lows will drop to the mid and upper-30s, while south winds blow at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Wednesday, the “heat” is on, as well as rain.
Highs are expected to top off in the mid and upper-40s, while winds pick up out of the south at 10 to 20 miles per hour.
Tomorrow night, the breezy and wet conditions will linger, with cooler air entering and producing more of a wintry mix leading to a possible dusting. Low temps will fall between low to mid-30s, while winds shift out of the west at 10 to 20 miles per hour. We’ll cool off heading into Christmas Eve, with a slight chance of snow early that morning.
