Two car accident sends one to hospital
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain Police and Fire Departments responded to a two car personal injury accident just before noon at the intersection of West F Street and Stockbridge Avenue.
The accident occurred when a north bound pickup, driven by a 67-year-old man from Florence, Wisconsin failed to yield the right of way to another pickup truck driven by a 52–year–old Iron Mountain man. The collision caused the 67–year–old man’s truck to roll over landing back on its wheels.
Both he and his 66–year– old passenger were sent to Dickinson County Hospital for non–life threatening injuries. The 67–year–old man was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
