Man receives sentence after shooting self in hand
IRON MOUNTAIN — An Iron Mountain man facing drugs and weapons charges received his sentence today in Dickinson County Circuit Court.
Anthony Warner, 25, pleaded no contest to one count of delivery or manufacture if marijuana and one count of reckless weapons use. He was ordered to sit 90 days behind bars and serve one year of probation. He’ll also pay three–hundred and twenty–six dollars in costs and fines.
Warner was arrested in November after accidentally shooting himself in the hand. Officers where called to the scene, and observed evidence of criminal activity unrelated to the shooting and arrested Warner.
