Finlandia looking for a new softball coach
Hancock, MI – Finlandia University will start a national search for a new softball coach immediately, according to an announcement made by Director of Athletics Chris Salani. This announcement being made after the position was vacated by second-year coach Brittany Williams, who has resigned for personal reasons.
“I want to thank everyone in the Finlandia family for the opportunity, their constant support and making me feel like family from day one. I learned so much in my time here and I wish everyone the best,” said Williams.
“While this is a tough time for our current players and new members of the program, they, along with Finlandia University would like to wish Brittany nothing but happiness in her new journey,” said Salani.
The process of finding a new head coach is currently underway.
“The next head coach will inherit a solid nucleus for the next season and beyond,” said Salani.
