Man stands mute in court on drug charges

MARQUETTE — An Ishpeming man who was scheduled to appear in Marquette County Circuit Court Friday for his arraignment will instead enter a plea agreement.

24–four year–old Bradley Scott Merrills stood mute to multiple drug charges in court. Merrills is one of three Ishpeming men accused of delivery and manufacture of meth or ecstasy, operating or maintaining a meth lab, and, conspiracy to commit the delivery or manufacture of meth or ecstasy.

Merrills and two other Ishpeming men were arrested by the Ishpeming Police Department on March second for allegedly making meth on a snowmobile trail. No court date has been set yet for Merrill’s sentencing.
