Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 2/23-24
The work week started off extremely sunny, but temps were frigid. Wind chills stayed in the teens below zero for most of the day, but it looks like tonight will bring us a slight warm up along with snow showers.
Weather Forecast:
Lows remain above zero tonight, with temps falling between the mid and upper single digits before rising to the mid teens early tomorrow morning. Winds will come out of the southwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Tuesday, light snow continues, bringing accumulations up to 1″. High temps will top off in the low to mid-20s, while winds shift out of the northwest at 15 to 25 miles per hour.
Tomorrow night, another surge of arctic air arrives as snow begins to exit. Low temps will fall between -10 to -5 degrees, with winds staying out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Wednesday looks to feature much colder conditions, with high temps struggling to reach 0 degrees.
